    Prospect Park – Minneapolis, Minnesota

Bus RAPID transit (BRT)

The Prospect Park Neighborhood is directly served by the Metro E Rapid Bus running between the Westgate Station LRT station just across the St. Paul border, then along SE University Avenue to SE 4th Street into Dinkytown and then along E Hennepin Avenue into downtown Minneapolis. It continues along the old #6 Bus line route to Southdale Mall in Edina. The Metro E Line opened in 2025 after many months of building stations and laying fiber optic cable to update digital displays.

These busses require pre-paid tickets from machines at the bus stop, just like the light rail trains. Each bus stop is a shelter with bicycle racks and a real-time display of arrival times.
