PROSPECT PARK garden walk & PLANT SALE

The 2021 Garden Walk and Plant Sale took place from 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday, June 26, 2021. The selection of public and private gardens will showcase both well-established and new gardens including pollinator, vegetable, and therapeutic gardens.

The 2021's organizing theme is Heal the Earth, featuring alternative energy sources (AES) for houses and vehicles, reducing our carbon footprint, and gardens (G) to get design ideas and growing tips.

- Plant Sale and Garden Walk Information will be at Pratt School.
- Tour the gardens for FREE and in any order.
- Plant sale proceeds support neighborhood plantings.
The Prospect Park Garden Club identifies interesting and exceptional gardens in the neighborhood and organizes a self-guided walk to view them all in one afternoon.
The tours features a variety of public and private gardens that showcase both well-established and new gardens including pollinator, vegetable, and therapeutic gardens.
Location maps and descriptions of the AESs and Gs (gardens) will be available the week before the garden walk here on the Prospect Park website. You can also pick up a map on the day of the walk at the Plant Sale at Pratt School.
Recent Garden Walks are held concurrently with the Yard Sales in Prospect Park.
Plant sale
The Plant Sale will take place at Pratt School from 10 am to 3 pm. It will include perennial and annual flowers, foliage, fruit and vegetable plants and shrubs. The sale is a fundraiser for the Prospect Park Garden Club's neighborhood programs, including maintaining the pocket park plantings and buckthorn eradication throughout Prospect Park, and Pratt Community School.
